Jeff Ukachukwu has been recruited to lead on the evaluation process for Cultivate, essential to see where, how and why the pilot scheme is successful at the end of its initial run.

 

Taking an innovative research approach, the evaluation process will run throughout the duration of the initiative with everyone involved taking on the roles of researchers, collecting information at every point, documenting decisions and capturing every aspect of each project.

 

Following a set of research guidelines provided by Jeff the aim is to assimilate all the gathered information in an evaluation overview at the end of the pilot period. “This innovative approach to evaluation will become an integral part of the Cultivate approach,” explains Tamzyn Smith, developmental director, “should Cultivate continue after the pilot, the evaluation technique will be part and parcel of the Cultivate package, rolled out to other regions and communities.”
