Clare Owen, the recently appointed Cultivator for the area, is a Theatre Practitioner who has worked primarily with young adults since she moved to Cornwall four years ago. She hopes that her enthusiasm and professional experience, both as an actor and an arts administrator, will motivate young people so that with the help of the Cultivate team, the local community, and other creative practitioners, they can realise their ideas.
The first stage will be an informal event in Lostwithiel where local young people will get together with other young adults involved in the arts in Cornwall, to share wish lists, discuss the issues and benefits of engaging with creativity, and explore different approaches to developing culture in their community. |
