Lostwithiel's young people direct, shoot and edit their own short films.

Working alongside professional film makers Barbara Santi and Tom Harding, young people from Lostwithiel and the surrounding area took part in an exiting film workshop this week at the Fourways Youth Centre in St Blazey where they learnt about storyboarding, composition, directing, stop animation and editing.  The group is in the process of setting up a film club and their ambition is to get a local film scene going, hopefully leading to a festival of short films made by young people.   They are currently trying to secure funding from  'Our Money Your Dream' for a video camera and a laptop so they can try out their ideas and new skills over the summer.
