Cultivate’s first Cultivator training day took place this week, at Wooda Farm in Crackington Haven.
The all day event was an opportunity for all the newly appointed Cultivators to meet, learn and
lay initial plans of how to help young people and their communities getvculturally active in their local areas. |

Cultivate have taken on Excess EneRGy Communications as a
key developmental partner in the Cultivate project. As part of the core Cultivate team, Excess EneRGy will be
managing all the communications activity and media relations for the duration
of the project, getting the word about Cultivate out on the street. They will
also be working closely with each of the community projects and Cultivators to
ensure that the projects communicate successfully and promote their own
activities as effectively as possible. |

consultation and research,its underway - triggering a
cultural undercurrent through communities across the county. |

The Cultivate project got well and truly underway today as a media campaign and search for ‘cultivators’ was launched in the local press.
Running across the West Briton, The Cornish Guardian and The
Cornishman, the call to action is aimed at recruiting participants for
all the projects in Lostwithiel, Newquay, Wadebridge, Caradon Hill,
Bude, Looe and Callington as well as raising general awareness of the
Cultivate approach.
